Hood Warfare 2 is only on Windows PC through Steam. Pick your device for the straight answer.
Buy it on Steam and play on Windows 10 64-bit or newer. You need a GTX 1660 or RX 5600 XT class graphics card, 8 GB of RAM and 25 GB of free space. A controller works too: Steam lists full controller support.
Hood Warfare 2 has no Steam Deck compatibility rating yet, and it uses Easy Anti-Cheat, which blocks Linux unless the developer allows it. Steam Deck owners on Reddit report that it runs well on low settings.
Handhelds that run Windows, such as the ROG Xbox Ally X and Legion Go, run the Steam version of Hood Warfare 2 like any PC. Lower the settings: the minimum spec is a GTX 1660 class graphics card.
There is no Hood Warfare 2 for Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S, and Trapstar Games has not announced one. Posts saying a console version arrives in 2027 cite no source.
It is only on Steam for Windows. Trapstar Games has not announced a PlayStation version, so a Hood Warfare 2 PS5 search turns up only gameplay videos recorded on PC.
Steam lists Hood Warfare 2 for Windows only, with no macOS build. We found no GeForce NOW listing for it as of October 14, so there is no cloud route on a Mac yet.
Trapstar Games has not released Hood Warfare 2 for phones. If you own it on a Windows PC, the free Steam Link app streams it from that PC to your phone over your home network.
It is a paid Steam game built in Unreal Engine 5. Roblox games with similar themes, like Da Hood, are made by other developers and have nothing to do with it.

Hood Warfare 2 is a multiplayer first-person shooter from Trapstar Games, released on Steam on October 8, 2026. Rival gangs fight for control of a fictional Chicago: you pick a side, build a loadout and take the streets across six modes and five maps.
It plays like classic Call of Duty multiplayer with the military swapped for the block. The UAV is a Snitch, a killstreak calls in a Drive By, and Search and Destroy becomes Destroy The Block. That mix, a $5.99 price and viral clips of the killstreaks sent Hood Warfare 2 to 14,245 players at once on Steam six days after launch.

Hood Warfare 2 has six modes, five of them gang against gang. Each one maps onto a Call of Duty mode you already know.

Build a loadout before each match. Swap sights, magazines, grips, suppressors and other attachments, then add perks and equipment.
Killstreaks parody Call of Duty's. Snitch works like a UAV and shows enemies on your map. Drive By sends an SUV through the map to spray the area.
Every match adds to your reputation. Level up to unlock more weapons and equipment for your loadouts.
Play online with friends and other players, or set up your own match: pick the map, mode and settings, and fill the teams with bots.
